Another scout related post… because it’s REALLY HARD posting every day.
These are meant to be funny and should be taken in that spirit. It’s been a rough week and making light of the volunteer situation makes it a little easier, so please don’t get too offended. Thanks!
Top Ten Inappropriate Ways to Recruit Volunteers
10. Give a free car to every 3rd volunteer to register… neglect to mention it’s a Matchbox car.
9. Get two positions for the price of one! If you sign on today, you can get Den Leader AND Advancement Chairman all for the low-LOW price of $10 registration fee! But wait… there’s more! Sign up within the next 9 minutes and get a free all expense paid trip to Round Table!
8. Offer a free Nintendo DS to the first kid who can get at least four adults to register as leaders.
7. Use pack funds to purchase a mind control device from the local Super Villain Warehouse.
6. Hey, um, can I get your autograph? HAHA! You just signed on as Cubmaster! SUCKA!
5. If I don’t get at least three more adult volunteers tonight I will jump off this ledge!
