That time of month…

Yep, it’s that time of month when I decide the site needs an update of some sort.  Since Colorfully-See-Through-Head was born in November, I haven’t changed the layout or graphic scheme.  I was encouraged (ahem, forced) by a certain someone to make a change.  I tinkered and toyed with several ideas, but I decided to fall back on one of my favorite “oldies” from back in the days of my old weblog (now defunct.)

I’m actually grateful for the nudges to do something creative with my time.  I’ve been in a funk for so long, and while the redesign didn’t change my funk, it helped me to feel like I’ve done something special with my time.  Besides, green is so much more lovely than tan.  Oh, and for those of you who are going to gripe about the graphics, count your blessings… I almost designed the whole site around this graphic:

Sometime this evening, our agent is meeting with the sellers.  It doesn’t look good.  I won’t say things look grim, but I think our agent is really only going through the motions because he knows we aren’t going to get this house.  There’s nothing else available that suits our needs right now, so I guess it’s a matter of waiting and hoping something comes on the market that is within our price range and suits our needs within the next few weeks.  If not?  Well, I guess hubby is going without me, at least for a time.  We can’t afford to move twice.

The weird thing is, time really is running out.  None of this seemed real or pressing until he came home this evening and told me that he’d signed up for mid-shift with Fridays and Saturdays off—for the new office’s schedule.  Wow.  He’s already being put on their schedule.  Granted, they’re getting ahead of themselves a bit, we do have all of February, all of March, and all of April before he’s supposed to be there.  Still, that’s only three months.  Escrow will probably take sixty days and that’s after we’ve found the right house and agreed upon a price and terms.  Something tells me, it isn’t gonna happen.  Oh well.

Ok.  No more stressing.  It’s after 4am and I need to sleep.
