TN Photos
New Photos are up from our trip to Tennessee. Okay, so the photos themselves aren’t new, per se, but they’re newly uploaded. I’m so far behind. Bleh. I will work on getting “first day of school” (always amusing) photos up, as well as some other random ones.
Disclaimer: I realize the aquarium photos are sucktastic. I was having a hard time figuring out which features to use. Without the flash, everything was too dark to see. With the flash, I got glare from the glass. I took twice as many photos as I uploaded, but I only put the semi-decent ones up. Truthfully, the aquarium was just too awesome for words. I loved being able to walk “through” the aquarium and see all the fish on either side (and above!) and if I lived nearby, I’d likely have bought a season’s pass and gone back nearly every weekend. Strange, considering I’m not much of a sea critter type girl. Still… it’s awe inspiring seeing creatures that (at least genetically) are often millions of years old.
Not many horseback riding photos. The ones that were taken were all TDO’s doing from behind (he didn’t go with us) as I wasn’t willing to risk losing/breaking my camera on the trail.
For some reason I could have sworn I took photos of the kids at the waterpark, but I didn’t find any. I’ll check the laptop later (that’s where the “ghost tour” pics are) and see if I stuck ‘em there. I may just have opted not to out of courtesy. We were, after all, on vacation with two teenage girls who may very well not have wanted photos of them in bathing suits plastered all over the internet. Heh.
(Maybe D. will be kind enough to link her photos, if she uploaded ‘em somewhere. I know her aquarium pictures were just *amazing*!)
