Was That an April Fool’s?

Nope.  The post on April 1 was all real.

And it gets worse.  Or at least seemingly continues.  Looovely.

Yep, another login one. Sorry!

Ugh!  Junior high sucks, plain and simple.  But knowing that doesn’t make it any easier for the kiddos.  The fact that you and TDO are doing something, anything, makes all the difference in the world.  Devon knows that you’re there, you care, it’s not his fault, and he’s not crazy.  That’s HUGE, even if the circumstances don’t change.

Why would she do it to Devon?  There are just tons of reasons.

Maybe she liked him and brought up to one of her friends, “what do you think about Devon?” If the friend responded negatively then instead of admitting she liked him she could make up a story about him, thereby helping her destroy her feelings for him and raising her own social status by looking like a victim.

Or it could simply be because he IS in the oddball group and doesn’t have anyone in HER clique to stand up for him.  “Someone made a prank call to my house last night.  It sounded like Bobby (random name) or Devon with a deep voice.” “Wow… I know Bobby would never do that, he’s cool.  But I don’t know Devon so it MUST be him.”

Teenage girls just suck and I’m terrified for the day when mine grow up.
